Hormones in Harmony

Living abundant joy through bio-psycho-spiritual balancing

Welcome to Hormones in Harmony where I shall share pearls of wisdom gathered over two decades of consulting with the hormonally challenged. As a holistic nurse practitioner specializing in neuro-immune-endocrinology, I have merged my western education with eastern philosophies, but the key to being a successful healer is to embody physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. At 54, married for 32 years with two grown children, I strive to keep my Hormones in Harmony with a positive attitude, a loving environment, and faithful consumption of Genesis Gold.

Well, I expected a Joyous Transformation, but this Summer Solstice was more like a tumultuous upheaval. Disillusioned I consulted my Q&A Journal*. I felt like I had come to an end in a five month long nesting period (as you can see I have hardly blogged) and looked forward to a new beginning on the solstice. Here’s an excerpt from my Q&A just before the solstice:

Q: I cannot see where I’m going… the fog is thick

A: Your “ship is coming in” as predicted…your life manifests beautifully, lessons learned day by day, letting go—releasing—allowing—creating—building—imaging—doing…

Q: So what is next?

A: You shall see. Be in the moment. Presence. Conscious Presence is all that is needed.

Q: I am clearing space, cleaning up old grime that keeps me fussing…

A: It is good. Let go of all that burdens you. Be free to receive Divine blessings of Love, Abundance, Health and Resources.

My muse left on 2-7-09 when my kitchen was demolished…it has begun to reawaken with the installation of a brand new stove just this week. They say kitchen remodels can cause divorces…it has been a great challenge…a lesson in patience that I have not fully received for the lack of pride of craftsmanship is disheartening .

The Summer Solstice fell on Father’s Day, which we spent with our beloved children. It wasn’t a grand shift, but a slide into sorrow of letting go. I waited a week to return to my Q&A Journal:

Q: I am lost…

A: You are not lost. You are here with ME—enjoy this existence…be calm

Q: I am tired…

A: You exhaust yourself with possibilities…over think, then regret not thinking of everything

Q: I tried with the kitchen…

A: You created beauty, grace, and functionality…professional designers may have broadened the possibilities but only you know you, your needs, your desires.

Q: I didn’t plan ahead. The remodel took so long…is still not finished…things changed in the long construction process, good things like the standing mixer and new stove, but the adjustments were too late…

A: Life changes. Soul remembers perfection, wholeness, and flows with the changes. Make the best of what you have and be grateful for it all.

Q: I don’t feel like it’s enough, because I feel I’m not enough. I try to do it all, be it all. I am loved and appreciated, I know, but I keep my distance so that others will not discover I am not enough.

A: You are enough. The Divine loves you as you are, not who you were, or who you will be. Relax and take pleasure in being you. As you accept yourself, love yourself, live in joy…then you open space in your heart to receive abundance, more love, more joy, more ease, more peace and greater knowing that all is well.

Q: Thank You.

A: You come to me when you need reassurance and I am here always. Do not avoid the connection because you feel imperfect. That is when the connection is most profound, most comforting, when you feel less, I give more. Release your fears and let ME fill you up.

You see how wonderful divine reconnection can be?

May you be blessed with Joyous Transformations,

Deborah
